Having an infant is not easy while chasing two toddlers and trying to get any type of housework done. I honestly thought it would be easy to wrangle three little ones when I was pregnant with my third child. My second child was super easy as a baby and-so I thought-they got easier the more you had. Boy was I wrong. My third as an infant is certainly not easy-going. I have to constantly remind myself that newborns are meant to be “connected” to their moms most of the day, like a little joey to a kangaroo momma. I’m not going to lie, I would love to just sit all day snuggling and carrying my little baby. The reality is, however, housework needs done and the toddlers need entertained. Enter–the baby wrap! This thing has seriously saved my life with balancing life and momming.
There are so many baby wrap options to choose from. After trying a variety of wraps, I chose the Solly Baby Wrap. This wrap comes in a variety of colors, has lightweight and breathable fabric, is strong enough to securely hold my little, and is easy to wrap. I mean *easy*. I always used to see these moms who effortlessly wrap themselves up through a series of a million different steps and thought there’s no way I can do that, nor do I have the time for that. The Solly is so easy to wrap that within seconds I am wrapped, with baby in and ready to go! Wearing this wrap is the best of both worlds-my little is able to snuggle in close to me and I have hands-free ability to complete housework chores or chase my toddlers around. It especially comes in handy when taking my middle daughter potty (we are potty training and, as you know, that requires a feat of strength let alone both hands).

Those of you new to baby-wearing may have your doubts about it. I get it. I had my own doubts when I was shopping around for wraps. I never had a wrap with my first child but knew I needed a way to wear my baby when I was pregnant with my second. The Solly has lasted me through both babies and still going strong! I recommend watching the video tutorials on their website to help you initially. With all new things, there is a touch of a learning curve. But I promise you that you will find this wrap easy to maneuver and it will be a life-saver for you!
